Open letter to olympics participants from India!
Dear heroes,
I am not a Shah Rukh Khan, who can motivate you as in Chak de India-But people, Olympics 2008 has started, and is all there happening. It is time you stop complaining about lack of Infrastructure, politics and corruption-Start winning. These are the ever lasting evils, and shall never change. It is in your hands to suppress them.Don’t just suppress them, but do it with a difference.Yes, the above factors do matter…But at the end of the day -a sports person is only born to win, and winners never complain! They only win! It is only you who can wake up the lazy morons trying to hinder the growth of sports in this nation. It is in your hands to show that Cricket is not the only thing which matters in this country.Remember How a girl from Hyderabad named Sania Mirza has changed the face of tennis in India? We need sanias, we need rathods to roar India’s fame in the sports world. A win here and a win there at least, is enough to motivate thousands to mould themselves into sport stars. You can then find a series of coaching camps , with lines of kids possessing all possible sporting material.
All of this can never happen in a fortnight, but the possibility cannot be ruled out!
-Sri.

Thanks A Lot For Your Motivation….
I am not a player but a IT professional & somewhat disappointed with what’s happening with India in Olympics.
But really thanks..
Now, I think how could we win in the next ?.
Means, Can’t we create or prepare a individual team of champions ?..
Let’s Hope For The Best….
Bro,
The present situation of players in India is pathetic; pathetic than what you and i think…
Saina Nehwal, a high potential badminton player from India had some real tough times….check this link:

Abhinav Bindra is a person who emerged as a star ….all by himself…and in India, he hardly got any resources required to prepare himself…yes, his efforts were recognized by praising him and by awarding medals…but i think he couldn’t really find the base he wanted.
In both the cases, it was their ability to motivate themselves, motivation from their parents and above all….they were in a position to support themselves financially, without which they would have failed miserably.
Still a long way to go.Yes,let us hope for the best!
